Details:  Our event in the Twin Cities will involve speakers from the local community, politicians and local entertainers in a celebration of the youthful and engaged.  The event will center around the meeting of the P4P flotilla, 500-miles into an epic journey down the Mississippi River, and March for America’s Youth, halfway through their journey across the United States, each endeavoring to highlight the importance the youth voice in politics.  Free food and refreshments will be provided.  On the following morning (June 26th), event attendees are asked to participate in a river cleanup sponsored by Living Lands and Waters (meet up for the river cleanup is at 8:00AM at the I-494 boat ramp on the Mississippi –mile marker 832-833)
