Who Are We?
We are a group of recent college graduates dedicated to resolving one of the most pronounced problems of our society: political apathy amongst people between the ages of 18 and 25.
Each of us brings our own experience in community-based problem solving and civic outreach to our mission. We want to see a strong, united voice from the youth of our country -- a voice that demands that actions today ensure a healthy tomorrow for our communities, our generation, and our world. We will create a new future by paddling the entire Mississippi River with anyone who will join us.
We have all been as active in the outdoors as we have been politically. We formed our friendships struggling as a team to climb mountains, bicycle over passes, and paddle rocky rivers. We share a love of Americas natural beauty and are excited to link our devotion to youth politics with our passion for the outdoors. The Mississippi will be our most challenging and rewarding adventure yet!
Hopefully, who we are will only expand and diversify. A handful will grow to ten, ten will grow to one hundred, and one hundred will grow to an innumberable body of excited young people who demand to be a part of a government that will serve them and generations to come.
