Thank you for volunteering to Take the Pledge with P4P. In an effort to increase youth voter turnout, we are asking you, a politically and civicly engaged citizen, to not only register yourself to vote, but ten of your friends or family.
The pledge is taken as a kind of exchange with politicians, who will be taking their own pledge at riverside events, agreeing to concern themselves with youth-voter issues.
When you submit a pledge card, you will be directed to a page where you can read a more detailed outline of this program, download state-specific registration packets, as well as the forms you'll need to collect information from the people you register.
In the fall, a P4P representative will contact you to see if you've fulfilled your pledge and ask you to send in your list of registered friends. With this collective of new voters, we can hold politicians accountable to their agreement, and ensure that the voice of young America is heard loud and clear.
What are you waiting for?
